COVID 19 UPDATE

March 17, 2020

Note to our customers from Frank Stalzer, President/CEO of VEC Supply

Dear valued customer, Our team at VEC remains dedicated to managing our business so that we may continue to serve you and avoid unnecessary disruption to our business and yours during these challenging times. We are closely monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) spread with the aim of preventing/minimizing impacts on our people and our business.

As our valued customer, we want you to know we greatly appreciate your business and the trust you place in VEC to supply products to you in a timely manner. We want to assure you that VEC has your business continuity interests in mind during the challenging days ahead as well as the safety of our employees.

To that point, we have made arrangements for some of our sales and purchasing people to work from home effective Monday, March 23rd. They will be able to provide you with pricing, shipping information, etc. as they do when they are in our office. You can reach a sales rep or someone in purchasing by calling their direct dial number or calling the branch number and using the automated attendant directory to be connected. All of our people will have access to emails while they are at home as well and will be able to provide the same level of service to you that they do today when they are operating from our offices.

We will also maintain a skeleton crew in all of our sales branches to support shipping and receiving so that we can keep material flowing to you, should you need it, during this challenging time.

While it is still unclear how long this current COVID-19 crisis will last, we are prepared to protect our employees and continue to provide our customers product, sales and service support in the days and weeks ahead. I am confident we will get through this challenge and life will get back to normal at some point. In the interim, we will continue to promote smart hygiene practices and ways to prevent the spread of illness (ie. handwashing, social distancing, staying home when sick) to our employees.

We will continue to monitor this important situation and will update you as things continue to evolve.

Sincerely,

Frank J. Stalzer President/CEO
